Biathlon is one of my favorite sports which mixes skiing and rifle shooting. The world cup takes place each year between November and March. Since a few years, especially with the men, it's Norway VS France VS Rest of the world even if there are some rising nations such as Germany, Italy and Sweden.

Zombi-athlon

Zombi-athlon, as its name implies, features a biathlon race (actually an individual). Instead of shooting on white targets, you will shoot on zombie heads! Pew!

Technique

The game is coded in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and mimics (the best way it can) the 8-bit style from video game consoles from the early 1990's. You will use the arrow keys + the D and F keys. It won't work on a mobile since only keyboard inputs are used.

Each country's skill is defined in 4 stats:

• Speed (a higher value means a higher distance with one key press)
• Accuracy (a higher value means a slower target)
• Stamina (a higher value means less effort during one key press)
• Recover (a higher value means less time to recover stamina, even if the difference is not very obvious)

This micro-game was built for Scream Dunk, a ranked one-week game jam where contestants had to create a horror game with sport elements.
I was expecting to finish around 35th-40th out of 61. Got it right. But how could you get points for horror and story for a micro-game that features no story at all?
